Vianna very much lets the
gemstones themselves do the talking, allowing the colors and shapes to help speak to and inspire the design. "How do we define our design?
Vianna Jóias is sophisticated, contemporary, shiny and colorful," says Vianna.
The company's philosophy is to have a variety of
gemstones be the centerpiece of designs that are set in rich, 18-karat gold. So enamored of the gemstones it uses in its creations, Vianna actually came up with its own names for some of them, such as "
green gold quartz," "
olive quartz" or "
whiskey citrine." Other favorites include prasiolite, which is green quartz, and rhodolite.
